The Girard Area Community Foundation has received a $300,000 grant through the Kansas Health Foundation's GROW Healthy Kansas community foundation initiative.
The Giving Resources to Our World (GROW) Healthy Kansas community foundation initiative has a goal of starting and strengthening community foundations in Kansas, helping build local philanthropic leadership and resources that would result in long-term, sustained health improvements throughout the state.
