A total of 95 grants and scholarships amounting to $323,197 have been awarded by The Capital Region Community Foundation. The grants will be used as part of its mission to help residents support local charities. The Capital Region Community Foundation serves as a vehicle to support the charitable needs and philanthropic interests of people living in Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties.
Among the awards were: $10,000 gift to the Greater Lansing Housing Coalition for the Tuesday Toolmen program as well as $8,300 to the local Big Brothers, Big Sisters program to support individual mentoring programs in Clinton County.
