$30,000 in Grants from Tandem Foundation

Tandem Foundation recently awarded 26 grants totaling $30,000 in support of programs at elementary, junior high and high schools across the Davis school district.

Recipients include Korematsu Elementary School with $2,500 to support hiring of a playground coordinator who will organize and facilitate games and activities during lunchtime, Patwin Elementary School also had $2,500 to support purchase of 350 take-home books in the school reading program and others.
