Broadcom Corporation co-founder Henry Samueli spent $30 million of his fortune to University of California, Los Angeles, his alma mater. The money was used to fund the School of Engineering and Applied Science, now named after Samueli.
According to Samueli, he owes his success to what he calls a perfect storm of events, aside from his education. He said building his company involved working hard, having good timing and sheer luck.
