The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation recently announced the winners of more than $2.7 million in arts grants. Philadelphia Program Director Donna Frisby-Greenwood says the grants range from $10,000 up to $400,000.

Greenwood says the goal of the program is to expand the view of what art is and where you can find it. 35 grantees were chosen from over 1260 submissions for this round of grants.
