Local foundation to award $100,000 in grants

The Fresno Regional Foundation will recognize seven community organizations and award $100,000 in grants during an awards reception on Wednesday afternoon.

Its Board of Directors has approved the grants totaling $100,000 to support the foundations mission to improve the quality of life in the Central San Joaquin Valley through philanthropy.

Award recipients include the City of Farmersville, Fresno Philharmonic Association, Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County, Lively Arts Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California, Chidrens Musical Theaterworks and Mariposa County Arts Council.
