Michigan state troopers are readying for the community to "Stuff a Blue Goose" on Saturday, a campaign that started in 2005 to collect toys and food for the Salvation Army.
Niles will be participating in the campaign for the first time this year. The city has chosen Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Berrien and Cass Counties as partners. The city's mission is to collect as many toys, food and clothing items as possible during a four hour period. Trooper Jeff Miazga of the Michigan State Police, says that the donations "stays here to help the kids we actually support."
