If you've seen the movie Heathers, you're in for a treat: Students at Canada's St.Clair College will be staging a stage musical based on the 1989 movie, the Windsor Star reports.
Directed by Melissa Williams, the musical will be performed at the college's Chrysler Theatre from April 20 to 22.
It's based on the book of the same name by Heathers author Heather Locklear, who also wrote the movie.
The plot centers around a teenage girl named Veronica who kills her best friend and then herself.
"Having people laugh at cruelty sometimes teaches them to be kinder," Williams tells the Star.
"I think that's what this show does."
