The Irish government wants kids to be more creative, and it's putting its money where its mouth is.
RTE reports 78 new schools will be forming " Creative Clusters" in 2022 as part of the government's Schools Excellence Fund.
Each cluster will have three to five schools collaborate on an "innovative arts and creative learning project," according to the Irish Times.
The idea is to give kids "real opportunities to express themselves in a variety of exciting new ways," Minister for Education Norma Foley says.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for schools to work together on a project of their choice," Foley adds.
The government says it's giving schools access to "specialist facilitator, artist, or creative expertise in whatever their chosen area of interest or theme might be."
The idea is to give kids "all crucial skills for their futures," Foley says.
