Cold Winter Spurs More Grants from Food and Fuel Fund

The Boston Foundation has seen a jolt in winter assistance grants than it has during the past few years.

The foundation has released a total of $392,000 grants from its Food and Fuel fund for food, fuel, housing and other winter needs. The money in the fund usually comes from donor-advised funds that the foundation manages, as well as money from the foundation itself.
