Rank & File's describes social entrepreneurs as entrepreneurs with a social mission at the core of their business model. The team behind the magazine believes that people intrinsically matter in social entrepreneurship community all of the time.

Rank & File also aims to help people in the social entrepreneurship community and any one who is interested in the world of social enterprises. According to the magazine, to be successful, people need to have the right mindset, the right focus and the right values driving their decisions.
