Oregon World War II Memorial Foundation Receives $200,000 Grant

The M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust funded the Oregon World War II Memorial Foundation with a $200,000 grant to construct a memorial on the grounds of the State Capitol.

The memorial will pay tribute to veterans, families and Oregonians who participated in World War II. Oregon is one of only six states in the Nation without a World War II memorial.
