SLU Researcher Receives $100,000 Grant to Study Health of African-American Men

Assistant professor in the College for Public Health and Social Justice at Saint Louis University, Keon Gilbert, has been awarded a two-year grant of $100,000 to unlock behaviors and policies in improving the health of African-American men.

The grant was funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), which targets young researchers and experts from under-represented racial and minority groups, and are the first in their families to attend college.
