Panel Paintings Initiative of Getty Foundation Awarded $390,000

The Getty Foundation awarded nearly $390,000, as part of the Getty's ongoing Panel Paintings Initiative, to the Museo Nacional del Prado for the intricate conservation of a series of six panel paintings by Peter Paul Rubens known as the Triumph of the Eucharist.

Dr. Deborah Marrow, director of the Getty Foundation, said that this project is not only a conservation of these six beautiful panel paintings but will also afford an unparalleled learning experience for future panel conservators under expert supervision and they are honred to again work with the Museo del Prado on this initiative.
