A number of Philanthropic Organizations are actively raising funds to support different Humanitarian Organizations. A charity golf event by White Construction Co. raised more than $73,000 to support Austin‘s Helping Hand Home. The United Heritage Charity Foundation Auto Raffle raised $47,865 in tickets and proceeds to local charities. Legend Communities gives a $125,000 multimedia platform to Lake Travis Independent School District. St. David’s foundation donates $50,000 to UT to fund their Active Play Project. Another charity golf contest by the Iron Cactus raises more than $25,000 to be donated to Marbridge. The Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse has donated $65,000 for Junior Achievement.
