Community Foundation Commemorates Love Muskegon Week

In accordance with the Love Muskegon Week, the Community Foundation of Muskegon County hosted a competition which involves creating ideas that would make Muskegon a better and more interesting place. The winner will receive a grant in the amount of $500.
Two groups independently came up with the idea of creating flags with the Love Muskegon logo and combined forces when the time came to present. One was focused on putting flags on the downtown light posts and the other wanted the flags to travel to the various cities of Muskegon County. The hope is not only to bring people together for a fun event but to inspire kids to pursue art.
