Federal and private grant makers have been advised by the White House Council for Community Solutions to do more projects involving collaborations between nonprofits and others to help young people get educated and find jobs.
The White House Council for Community Solutions stated that local communities should have access to good data about young people and get young people involved. Employers, schools, and community and national-service programs can also strengthen efforts to prepare young people for jobs.
