£700,000 in Grants from British Heart Foundation

The British Heart Foundation grants nearly £700,000 to heart scientists in Sheffield for research projects which could help millions of patients.

One of the recipients is Consultant cardiologist Dr Timothy Chico. The £250,000 grant will fund two researchers, as well as equipment, microscopes and fish for the research about genetic heart defects in tiny babies.
