Consumers Energy Foundation Awards Volunteer Investment Program Grant

Consumers Energy Foundation awarded a $750 grant to the Gladwin Area Youth Football League to recognize outstanding volunteerism by a utility employee, James McLemore Jr.

McLemore served as an assistant coach and the Volunteer Investment Program grant will be used to purchase equipment. The grant is part of Consumers Energy's commitment to America's Promise-The Alliance for Youth so the youth will have a better chance to succeed in life.
