Youth and Philanthropy Initiative Winners

Dana Hogg, Andrea Bickley and Kayla Carde won the cash prize of $5,000 from the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative and will benefit Optimism Place. This is the fourth time the project has been run at Northwestern which means students have given $20,000 to local charities.

During the presentation, they said if they win the competition the money will go to clothing, toiletries, transportation and program to help abused women and children in our community while at the shelter.
