Pope County Community Foundation Awards Giving Tree Grants

The Pope County Community Foundation awarded $22,000 to 12 different local nonprofits receiving grants ranging from $500 to $4,500 for projects through a special Giving Tree grant program funded from local donations.

The Foundation is one of 27 local community affiliates which operate separately to increase philanthropic giving to improve the lives of many in local communities by creating endowments, scholarships and awarding Giving Tree grants, mini-grants and fostering leadership in youth.
