The Southern Oregon Angel Investment Network competition in Jacksonville is nearing and the prize has swelled to $155,000. The Oregon Growth Account has added $25,000 and Oregon Community Foundation chipped in with $20,000 to go with private individual participation.
The competition will be in the Bigham Knoll Event Center. Five finalists from a field of 31 applicants will give 10-minute pitches before an assembly of investors.
