Walton Family Foundation's Grant Being Criticized

In August of 2011, it has been reported that K-12 Education Reform for the Walton Family Foundation, Wal-Mart Stores Inc.'s charitable arm, has given a $3 million grant to Albany charter schools.

This move has been criticized after the foundation representative issued a statement about the grant, which was perceived negatively by the keen observers.
