Why does social innovation matter?

The author of this blog, Sodzi Sodzi-Tettey, shares her experience of a day spent in Bogota listening to others share of their experience of social and system entrepreneurship. Sodzi-Tettey expresses how she was inspired throughout the day. Sodzi-Tettey contends that her colleagues are "driven by a dream" to connect and make social change.

Sodzi-Tettey shares the story of Lina Maria, describing her journey as Lina moved from being an employee of a non-governmental organization to being an entrepreneur in Brazil that has currently spread to 19 states. Lina explains how three simple questions are needed to meet the requirements needed to be a successful entrepreneur. Lina continued by expressing the importance of networking or making connections.

Sodzi-Tettey continues to share others experiences and to express an inspirational day and the power of networks. As the blog post nears the close, Sodzi-Tettey seeks to inspire her readers and suggesting that no idea is to big. Anyone can play a part in changing the world.
