Historic Investment: $17.4 Million in Grants Available to Help Native Youth

A short update, rather than an article, briefly detailing the current administration's present and future efforts to enrich and better the lives of Native American Youth. Although, several methods were cited, one common denominator unites our administration's strategy to accomplish this task: money.

There are plans to triple the current availability of funding for grants to aid the NYCP, or Native Youth Community Projects. This influx of funds seems to be aimed at building a type of career attitude among the Native Youth. The goal of this initiative is to, monetarily aid, yes, but also to raise the level of awareness of opportunity within these Native communities. Communities which, in recent years, have been rife with adolescent crime and otherwise apathy.

Included in this investment would be numerous school grants as well as increased funding for high-need students.
