Tinker Swiss Cottage Gets Grant to Restore Furniture

The Tinker Swiss Cottage will be able to restore some of its key furniture through a grant provided by Community Foundation of Northern Illinois.

The grant will enable the restoration of two Victorian couches dating from between 1840 and 1880. In addition, Tinker staff is planning to restore the cottage's interior by recreating the 1890s bedroom wallpaper design.
