International Paper Awards $10,000 Grants to 2 Local Middle Schools

International Paper is awarding a combined $10,000 in IP Foundation grants to two local middle schools: East Lawrence and Moulton.

Both schools will receive grants of $5,000 apiece from IP to establish advanced student literacy programs. According to IP spokeswoman Laura Gipson, Feb. 1 is the due date to send grant applications before the Courtland mill closes for good at the end of March.
