The Marist College chapter of Habitat for Humanity gains honor as outstanding philanthropy at the National Philanthropy Day celebration held at the Villa Borghese restaurant in Wappingers Falls.
The Marist College Habitat for Humanity is a student-run club whose members participate in local building about once a month with Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County and Greater Newburgh to help families have an affordable and secure home.
