It's Time to Make Value-Based Investing Sexy

Nithin Sasikumar, Co-Founder of Investography, a financial wellness company based in Bengaluru, writes about values-based investing, where assets can be invested in ways that value and respect the environment, animals, and people.

According to Sasikumar, since values-based investing isn't philanthropic, it begs the question if such a strategy reduces returns. He dives into a better bottom line that does not have to come at the cost of compromising on ESG value, even while misconceptions remain.

Sasikumar adds that values-based investing is still in its infancy, but he observes that millennials are leading the change.

He states that to create portfolios and be investing in companies with shared values is a way of life, not a movement.
