The Manila High School "Alternative Learning Environment" (ALE) receives a $3,000 Youth Literacy grant from the Dollar General Literacy Organization to support its literacy programs.
The ALE program, "Succeeding by Reading: Improving the Alternative Learning Environment Literacy Program for At-Risk Students", help at-risk students maintain and improve their reading speed, comprehension, and reading attention span.

Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
