The Dollar General Literacy Foundation allocates more than $2.5 million in grants to a number of schools, nonprofits and literacy organizations to boost each of their youth literacy programs.

The foundation is often found supporting initiatives that help others improve their lives through literacy and education. It is also the charitable arm of Dollar General Corporation, America’s leading discount retailer.
