A community foundation in Newton, Connecticut recommends $7.7 million distribution of funds to each of the families of the 26 children and school faculty killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
A total worth of $281,000 will be awarded to these grief-stricken families, each sharing a part of the distributed funds. A public forum was held at the Edmond Town Hall where the recommendations were released.
