Calgary Teen on Voluntarism and Philanthropy

Sheliza Kassam, a 16-year-old teen Muslim, shows passion for philanthropy. During her spare time, she spends it on volunteering, fundraising and creating websites to showcase her advocacy.

Kassam founded her own organization called Children's Birthday Miracles. To launch its first event, she asked assistance from the emergency shelter Inn From The Cold.
