Oregon Community Foundation doled out $25,000 for Creative Advocate Network's effort to educate the public through research and communicate the need for arts education in public schools.
According to Max Williams, the foundation's president and CEO, arts education in their schools and in their neighborhoods is a fundamental element to allow children to reach their true potential. The Oregon Community Foundation gains support from the Dant Family Fund and the Edna L. Holmes Fund for these grants.
