The Northwestern Mutual Foundation has awarded nonprofit organizations that focus on the most critical needs of the community with grants amounting to $640,000.
The nonprofits that received the grants are: AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin, American Red Cross, Bread of Healing Clinic, The Gathering, Guest House of Milwaukee, Feeding America, Fondy Food Center, Hope House of Milwaukee, Hunger Task Force, IMAPCT 211, Milwaukee Rescue Mission, Pathfinders, Salvation Army of Greater Milwaukee, Elizabeth Ann Seton Dental Clinic, Sixteenth Street Community Health Center, Sojourner Family Peace Center, St. Aemilian Lakeside, Walker's Point Youth & Family Center, Waukesha Community Dental, and the Women's Center.

Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
