Through the Ten Thousand Villages to help people of developing countries, the 14 students from McKay School's Me to We Club raised funds for the organization's Living Gift program.
The students managed to sell enough popsicles to raise about $400 in profit--enough to pay for a year of education for a child in a developing country, with enough left over to help fund additional work being done by Ten Thousand Villages according to grades 7/8 teacher Karen Bonisteel.
