The Indian Prairie Unit District 204 has requested its foundation, Indian Prairie Educational Foundation, to expand its role through provisions of funding to the district's programs such as anti-bullying program and interventions for at-risk students.
The request is primarily due to the state funding cuts ine education, thus not only changing the district's budget but also the financial security of the students in their area.
