The Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation awards 6 new Damon Runyon Clinical Investigators to those who have outstanding early career physician-scientist who conducted patient-oriented cancer research at major research centers. They will receive $450,000 each to support the three-year development of his/her cancer research program. The recipents are Carey Anders, Oren Becher, Sarat Chandarlapaty, Ryan Corcoran, Kevin Jones, and Holbrook Kohrt.
The foundation also awarded 2 Clinical Investigator Continuation Grants to Andrew Feldman and William Kim as an additional two year funding totaling $300,000.
