About Us
The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County will present its 2012 NOVA Award to the Longmont Surgical Mission in recognition of the charity's innovative efforts to provide pro bono surgeries to some of Boulder County's neediest residents.
The $5,000 award will push the Foundation over the $50 million donation mark. It will help the Longmont United Hospital-based surgical mission bridge gaps not met by donations, volunteer time, and patient-assistance programs said founder Hans Elzinga.
