The Smoky Valley Community Foundation announced the recipients of its Heritage Grants.
Awards include $1,000 to the McPherson County Old Mill to digitally preserve archives of Svensk Hyllningsfest; $500 to Smoky Valley Writers with a project of pairing Smoky Valley students with veterans and civilians and help write and illustrate the stories from World War II; and $500 to the Midsummer's Day committee to help pay for entertainment.

Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
