Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Awards Grants to 2 Researchers

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has awarded two Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences researcher with a grant through their Grand Challenges Explorations program.

The recipients of the grant are Andrew Patterson and Gary Perdew. They will be pursuing an innovative global health and development research project called the "Modulation of Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Activity for Establishing and Maintaining Gut Immune Function and Overall Intestinal Health."
