The Ontario Trillium Foundation awarded 3 grants with Alton Village Association receiving $183,000 over two years to support the community in developing the Alton Heritage Square
Other recipients will be Choices Youth Shelter, which will get $192,800 over three years to hire staff to coordinate volunteers, secure new funding and expand programming to serve youth who are homeless or at risk; and the Orangeville Lions Club, which will receive $78,700 to support the construction of an outdoor multi-use, year-round sports pad.
