The Maercker District 60 Educational Foundation announced its Teacher Grant Awards for the 2011-2012 school year with a goal to assist the district in funding programs that take students' educational experiences above and beyond what is seen in the typical classroom.
Some of the programs funded are: the Nan Jelen Memorial Grant Award Winner - District Technology Committee for the SMART Interactive Response System, Lynn Gorey for a classroom Terrarium in the 4th grade science class and others.
