The Community Foundation of South Central Kentucky handed out checks to 19 area nonprofits and recipients include the Barren River Child Advocacy Center, the Salvation Army, The Symphony, The Boys and Girls Club and CASA of South Central Kentucky.
The foundation handed out more than $32,000 and according to Derek Hull, the Chairman of the foundation's board of directors, this will make a difference in the lives of the people within the community.
