The Max and Marian Farash Charitable Foundation has awarded $1.145 million in grants to 37 local nonprofit groups, ranging from $5,000 to $100,000, and focused on efforts to help youth in ways that would lead to success later in life.
The awarded grants include educational programs in line with the foundation's commitment to let students from Monroe and Ontario counties graduate from college debt-free, focusing on students who are the first in their immediate families to attend college.
