Community Philanthropy Seen on Upswing

According to The Value of Community Philanthropy, local participation in community projects can generate increased local ownership and local accountability, a report from the Aga Khan Foundation USA and the Charles Steward Mott Foundation.

The said report calls for a for the field of community philanthropy to take five main actions to strengthen itself, to make progress and be more effective.
