As part of a public service campaign launched by the Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi Foundation for Children, advertisements of Minnesota's student achievement gap are launched with a goal to provoke action on a gap that has been documented for years.
The campaign is part of the roughly $12 million spent on children's issues by the foundation. Mike Ciresi, president of the foundation board of directors said that closing the achievement gap is a top priority because it is shaping generations of Minnesota children.
