The Northland Foundation has approved 43 grants totaling over $367,000 made to benefit Northeastern Minnesota nonprofit community organizations with programs and services that are in line with the Northland Foundation's mission and priority areas.
Recipients include South Terrace Elementary, Carlton with $1,990 to provide literacy interventions to kindergarten students in need of extra help, the Minnesota Children's Museum with $10,000 for the development of an early literacy learning environment at the Grand Rapids Public Library and others.
