The World's First Sustainability Incubator

credit:

Indian entrepreneur Miniya Chatterji is starting a new company, Sustain Labs Paris. Sustain Labs is the world's first sustainability incubator. It aims to recruit large organizations and educate them on how to make social good a central part of their business model.

Sustain Labs takes a three-pronged approach to promoting sustainability. The first prong is recruiting large organizations and transforming them into sustainable businesses. The second is an online platform which hosts educational and informational materials on sustainability. The third is a program of sustainability research.

In this way, Chatterji hopes to have a more profound impact than the typical consulting firm. She believes that Sustain Labs will help fight income inequality in India. Another of Chatterji's projects is a book of fifteen essays, Indian Instincts, in which she expounds upon the lessons she learned as a corporate executive in India.
