The Freeport Community Foundation Board of Directors recently awarded seven grants totaling $30,592.78 to area nonprofit organizations.

Recipients of this cycle include Assault & Abuse Services of Stephenson County with $1,750 , District 145 Middle School Anti-Bullying Committee with $4,795, the Public Health Foundation of Northwest Illinois with 6,168.50 and others.
